The Banknotes of Germany
Banknote production status: EXTINCT. After World War II, Germany split into the Federal Republic of Germany ("West Germany"), and the Democratic Republic of Germany ("East Germany"). Germany was reunited in 1990 and used the Mark of the former West Germany. In 2002 Germany began using the Euro.
